Floatie Free!

Nora has taken a few swim lessons at the YMCA. We had taken a break over the winter, but she really enjoys swimming and a friend was taking lessons as well, so we signed her up for the same times slot (in in her friends big brother's class)! Over the previous 15 lessons, Nora has gone from enjoying the water but not having confidence to swimming without a bubble (which totally shocked me yesterday!). She has been moved up to the "Ray" level in swimming. I don't plan to enroll her in swim lessons for the summer, but she is super excited to be moving into the class that gets to swim in the lap lanes! I'm sure she will have plenty of time to practice her swimming this summer and we will probably let take a session or two of "Ray" this fall so she can learn technique (unless she is sick of swimming by then!).
