Poor Elizabeth has already gotten her first cold. She's been stuffy for a few days now. She's pretty good during the day, but nighttime has been difficult. She gets stuffy if she's laying down for too long, so we've been nursing more frequenly than normal at night to help clear her up, and she's spending a bit of night time in the swing or on my chest with me reclined so she can sleep at an angle. I guess getting a cold at a younger age is a benefit of being a second child...
Of course, Nora has also had the cold, and with it has come a lot of fussiness and clinging to mommy. Usually, Nora is very independent (the most heard phrase right now is "nora do it"). However, lately, we have been getting a lot of "Mommy hold you." Poor thing has no coping skills, and even had an hour long tantrum. Luckily, we were on the way to the chiropractor for Beth and the Dr noticed Nora was out of sorts and adjusted her as well. The change was amazing!
