More summer fun

Summer with kids really is fun. It can also be tiring, hot and challenging. I made sure to keep the kids pretty busy this summer. Nora had camp for a few weeks, we had some playdates and park play, but much of the summer was spent at home. We made lots of Popsicles. I had no problems giving my kids home made pops. Mostly we made ours with pureed fruit and greek yogurt. I let Nora spoon the ingredients into the molds so that we got a marbled effect, which made the pops even more fun to eat! We also did a lot of play in the sensory table. It was often water and/or ice. The kids loved to fill the ice cube trays with colored water, freeze, and toss into the sensory table for play.

Measuring sugar for a baking project.
 Trying on mama's swim goggles.

Nora wanted to do "cheers" with her ice pop.

Beth started climbing out of her crib, so we moved her into a toddler bed. She loves her rocking chair though, and this week ,we found her asleep in the rocker just as often as she was sleeping in her bed!
