We spent a day getting to see what daddy does "at work." He's working on a project that requires him to drive to Maine every few weeks, jump into the water and take some photos of equipment sitting under the water. The kids were over the moon when we told them that we were going to tag along for his early September trip. We got to see the Darling Marine Center (part of the University of Maine) and eat lunch at King Eider's Pub, which is a wonderful little local place to eat! It was a long day, but the kids did really well, despite spending about 5 hours in the car! While daddy and Mr. Matt were getting in their wet suits, I ran around with the kids at the Marine Center. We played red light, green light. Have you ever played that with a 2 year old calling the shots? It's pretty funny!

watching daddy and Mr Matt getting ready to jump in!
The view from the dock at the marine center. Rough job, eh!
